The School

Wi School was founded in 2008 with the ambition to offer a quality bilingual education in Paris. Its founder, a former lawyer living in an international setting and a company manager, established the Wi School pedagogical project on three principles: the guarantee and transparency of the learning of fundamental knowledge in line with the curriculum of the National Education based in France, bilingualism learned through immersion, and the application of innovative pedagogies such as Montessori.

In the Children's House (ages 2½-6), teachers rely primarily on the Montessori pedagogy and materials. In the Elementary Class, the Montessori material is always present, and the teachers also deploy other tools to best meet the learning needs of this cycle. This is done in a fully bilingual setting all day long.

Thus, practicing a true bilingualism and relying on an official curriculum through innovative pedagogies, the former students of Wi School have always been able to integrate into prestigious establishments. (International private and public middle schools in the Paris region).

Children's House (2.5 to 6 years old)

Staffed all day by a French-speaking teacher and an English-speaking teacher, the Children’s House offers a special environment for our students. All our classes have Montessori materials adapted to the ages of the children, and our teachers are Montessori trained and certified.

While aiming for demanding pedagogical objectives, we wish to offer a respectful and reassuring environment to all our students: in our school the Montessori pedagogy is applied with common sense and by taking into account the innovations in education.

Elementary (6 to 11 years old)

The elementary class offers a unique learning environment: all day long, our students are supervised by two teachers, one English-speaking and one French-speaking, who organize groups of students according to their level and the subjects they are studying. The acquisition of autonomy and group projects are combined with the goal of providing students with all the fundamental knowledge required by the French National Education system.

Bilingual immersion allows students to acquire a real practice of the language, to understand without difficulty and to express themselves with ease, both orally and written. While the Montessori material for 6-11 year olds is used in particular for mathematics and languages, the teachers use a variety of pedagogical tools adapted to take advantage of the privileged composition of this class. We wish to offer our students a quality bilingual education in a demanding and caring environment.
